Hi! I’m Vidur.

I’m a New York-based writer, director, cinematographer, and editor, originally from New Delhi. Most of my work is built around the idea of finding the extraordinary in everyday moments, usually through stories that feel visually driven but stay emotionally grounded.

I’ve worked on over 20 shorts in various roles, but in my own directorial work like The Building Blocks of a Bridge and my latest film ARTEFACTS. I’m really interested in the intersection of family, migration, and identity. I love experimenting with the "texture" of a story, often blending 16mm film and digital to create these dream-like spaces where the past and the present kind of collide. For me, filmmaking is about creating an intimate space where audiences can really feel the weight of a memory or the quiet shift in a relationship.
